Keepmoat celebrates completion of 3000th new home in the Midlands

The Midlands division of housing and regeneration specialist, Keepmoat, is celebrating a significant milestone after completing the construction of its 3000th new home in the region.

Keepmoat’s 3000th home in the Midlands was completed at its Bridle Wood development in Telford. In partnership with Walsall Housing group, the development comprises of 77 two, three and four bedroom homes just 3 miles from Telford’s town centre and bordering picturesque woodland.

The completion of the 3000th home comes exactly six years after Keepmoat’s first legal completions in the region and helped reach its target of 52 legal completions across the Midlands for July.

Regional managing director, Paul Degg said: “To achieve these results, from a start-up business to where we are now, is remarkable and my thanks goes out to the hard work, effort and commitment of the whole team. Our business is thriving in the Midlands and we are delighted to continue providing high-quality affordable housing for the communities. We look forward to continuing our work in the region.”

With new homes being built in Nottingham, Shirebrook, Coalville, Tibshelf, Telford and Northampton, the East Midlands is the next key area of expansion for Keepmoat, as it aims to build and sell 1000 homes a year by 2019 and provide a variety of employment initiatives in the area.

To further bolster its work in the Midlands and to provide a better location for staff and clients, Keepmoat also opened a new office in the East Midlands on Wednesday 20th July.

The new Keepmoat Homes office is located in Unit D1, Orchard Place, Nottingham Business Park, Nottingham, NG8 6PX.
