Suppliers and Subcontractors
Keepmoat operates a robust supply chain strategy focused on providing best value in the delivery of new and refurbished public sector housing, extra care schemes and private homes for sale.
We aim to be a leader in best practice and recognised for our innovation and transparent procurement process providing optimum efficiency, service and quality to our customers.
Supplier and manufacturer procurement is dealt with by our dedicated supply chain team responsible for handling all purchase order requirements.
Though we actively encourage engagement with high quality local suppliers, we also operate a suite of group-wide, long term strategic frameworks providing preferential commercial terms and service levels nationally.
Subcontractor procurement is managed regionally by our experienced commercial teams with emphasis upon local employment and training.
Support is provided by our central supply chain team in order to ensure strict mandatory compliance and to coordinate procurement methodology and works specification.
How do we start working with Keepmoat?
Subcontractors need to be registered on our approved list database. To qualify, organisations need to have demonstrated their operational capability, show commitment to safety health and welfare and be accredited to a SSIP (Safety Schemes In Procurement) member scheme e.g. CHAS.
In addition, evidence of relevant operative training will be necessary along with confirmation of adequate insurance cover.
Suppliers also need to become approved by showing evidence of relevant certification, such as FSC and implementation of robust operating procedures to ensure high levels of quality, delivery and service.
How do we become approved?
Subcontractors will be invited to submit an application form to our Approved List Coordinator.
A copy of the application form may be obtained by contacting a member of our regional commercial team and expressing interest in tendering for either a specific project or maybe just general activity in that location.
Suppliers should contact our central supply team in the first instance to enquire about up and coming opportunities or to register interest in a specific project.
What does Keepmoat look for in its supply chain?
It is important that our suppliers and subcontractors share our values for delivering high quality and excellent service with a passion for delighting our customers, whether that is a registered social housing provider, tenant or new home owner.
We are also interested to learn about and incorporate new ideas, innovations and methods to help improve the quality of our products and services at reduced cost.
Is it important for Keepmoat to use a local supply chain?
